Pink Day is an initiative that provides students, staff and the community with the opportunity to discuss the impact of bullying behaviour and how we can use all our power to help create a safe and respectful school.
Students and staff are invited to wear a pink shirt on Feb. 22 to show they believe actions have impacts and their commitment to make their actions bold in the face of bullying behaviour.
As we have discussed at length the environmental impact of the fast fashion industry, we are encouraging students to wear pre-existing pink shirts (if they still fit). As well, Me to We students will be selling anti bullying pink T-shirts from years' past at a cost of 5$. The proceeds of our sales will be used to support Me to We initiatives. Shirts will be on sale during lunch, starting next week. It would be very helpful if students brought the exact amount of cash. We have limited sizes available are small, medium or large in both youth and adult.
