Digital Citizenship plays a huge role in our students' lives, both inside and outside of school. As such, we have created a year long scope and sequence digital citizenship plan at each grade level. Students will have an opportunity to discuss and to learn about a variety of key concepts, key roles, and key responsibilities surrounding digital citizenship: key words , citing a site, private and personal information, spam, strong passwords, citizenship, copyright, digital footprints, high quality sites, strategic searching, Nethics, cyberbullying, managing passwords, making good decisions, etc. I would also like to share RTA's Digital Literacy Policy with both students and families, as we are working hard to ensure that technology is used to enhance the learning opportunities at school.
